Under WE Pledge, the alumni can play a pivotal role in the following manner:
Policy-level
Suggest the kind of start-up policy to be created for incubated start-ups at ASHINE. For example, granting attendance for work carried in establishing a start-up company, entrepreneur-in-residence program - providing accommodation to a select few incubated start-ups, complete access to infrastructure for prototyping and testing, deferred placement till a few years from graduation - incase the start-up fails or wants to get placed after an exit etc. to name a few.
Mentor-level
Suggest a specific sector they would prefer to mentor. Team - ASHINE would ensure that we carry out these mentorship sessions as per the alumni’s convenience. Preferably, a few hours over a weekend or a holiday.
Investor-level
Suggest a specific sector they would like to invest in. Team - ASHINE will ensure that we find the correct people and develop a system where we incubate these start-ups and the alumni invest their time and capital in these start-ups.
