A Research Park has been set up at SVNIT, Surat to coordinate institutional activities related to innovation, incubation, entrepreneurship and industrial interaction.Under the Research Park, SVNIT Surat has set up a Not-for-Profit, Section - 8 company named Association for Harnessing Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ASHINE).To promote entrepreneurial activity on and off the SVNIT campus and commercialization of Research & Development efforts across all disciplines of Engineering and Technology including Materials, Manufacturing, Energy and Environment.
IDEOLOGY
Be the epicenter for innovation focused entrepreneurship in South Gujarat by creating an effective ecosystem for entrepreneurs to start a viable enterprise with global competence for sustainability and inclusive growth. To scout and facilitate startups that blend creativity, innovation, product design, technology and engineering for employment creation and wealth generation. Implement, handle operations and management of startup incubators by developing a sustainable framework via implementation of policies to support startups by extending state of the art laboratories and other world class pre-incubation and incubation facilities to startups, entrepreneurs and innovators. Create IPR awareness and registration activities.
