START-UP FUNDING PROGRAMS (SFP)
Pre-Seed Funding: Supported under Student Start up and Innovation Policy (SSIP)
Ignition
Applications are invited at Idea level to develop the pre-incubation pipeline and sanctioned grant of upto Rs. 50,000/- per idea under SSIP will be given to selected participants for PoC development. SSIP scrutiny committee would consist of 2 faculty members from SVNIT, 3 members from ecosystem or partner organization’s, 1 member from ASHINE. Frequency: 4 - times a year.
Catalyst
Applications are invited for participants who already have an idea to be converted into Proof-of-Concept (PoC). Selected participants will be given a sanctioned grant of upto Rs. 2,00,000/- under SSIP. Opportunity to get incubated as a Startup under ASHINE. SSIP scrutiny committee would consist of 2 faculty members from SVNIT, 3 members from ecosystem or partner organisations, 1 member from ASHINE. Frequency: 3 - times a year.
Seed-Funding: Supported under Scheme for Assistance for Start-ups/Innovation (SAS)
Energise
Applications will be invited for Startup ideas who require seed-funding for scaling up their startup. Grant subject to be sanctioned of up to: Rs. 30,00,000/- with additional Rs. 10,00,000/- for Social Innovation, Rs. 20,000/- Sustenance allowance per startup/month or Rs, 25,000/- Sustenance allowance per startup/month.
Rs. 3,00,000/- to participate in a national/international recognized acceleration program. Rs. 1,00,000/- per startup for mentoring services and upto Rs. 15,00,000/- per annum per nodal institute. Reimbursement for organizing promotional events: 75% or upto Rs. 5,00,000/- and 90% or upto Rs. 5,00,000/- to promote Women Entrepreneurship.
It will be provided to selected startups by the Nodal Institute under Scheme for Assistance for startups/Innovations - Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020. Internal scrutiny committee to be created with 6 members. 1 member secretary, 4 members from the startup ecosystem, 1 member from ASHINE. Frequency: Every month.
Leap
Application will be invited for Startups who require Series - A funding ranging between Rs. 50,00,000/- to Rs. 3,00,00,000/- for overall expansion and growth of a company. To be forwarded by the CEO, ASHINE. Frequency: Every month.
Series-A Funding [ Scheme for Assistance for Startups/Innovation (SAS) ]
Trigger
Application will be invited for Startups who require Series-A funding ranging between Rs. 50,00,000/- to Rs. 3,00,00,000/- for overall expansion and growth of a company. To be forwarded by the CEO, ASHINE. Frequency: Every month.
Skill Development Program
Evolve
Skill development activities (i.e. Hands-on workshops/Seminars/Webinar/Expert Talk) will be carried out under this program. Under the special initiatives to promote student startups and innovations head of SSIP to be utilised. Frequency: 3 - times a year.
Approved/sanctioned startups shall be provided assistance for skill development training specific to soft skills, managerial skills, marketing skills, financing skills for the startup project. Such skill development training should support the startups in understanding the ecosystem, fund raising, commercializing and scaling up the startup project.
Financial assistance up to Rs. 1 lakh per approved/sanctioned startup shall be given for participating in such skill development training programs on reimbursement basis.
